Backs President Trump for Nobel Peace Prize

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Senator Rick Scott joined Senator John Cornyn and their colleagues to introduce a resolution praising President Donald Trump’s bold leadership and decisive military action with Operation Midnight Hammer to destroy Iran’s nuclear capabilities. The resolution commends President Trump’s unwavering commitment to U.S. and allied security, his firm stance against the world’s leading state sponsor of terror, and supports his nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize as a result of his actions to reestablish deterrence and advance peace in the Middle East.

Senators Roger Wicker, Thom Tillis, Mike Crapo, Markwayne Mullin, Pete Ricketts, Katie Britt, Dave McCormick, Lindsey Graham, Jim Justice, Kevin Cramer, Ted Budd, and Deb Fischer joined the resolution.
