WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senator Rick Scott’s proposal to prevent Congress from getting paid during a government shutdown was successfully added to the Government Shutdown Accountability Act in today’s Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Meeting. Senator Scott originally co-sponsored the No Budget, No Pay Act with Senator Mike Braun in January.
